Glimpse of the Saskatchewan River, Saskatoon, Sask..

Hand-tinted postcard with a view of the Traffic Bridge down the road that used to go through the riverbank foliage to the ferry. The road was later known as Lovers' Lane. Idylwyld area visible beyond. The wreck of the City of Medicine Hat steamboat is still visible piled up against one of the piers of the bridge due to the low water level of the river. A sandbar formed upstream of the pier because of the breakwater created by the wreckage.

Date: [after 1907].
