Woman and child sitting on porch in front of bicycle. Woman may be Grace Fletcher, child may be Rachel Stephenson. (Rachel's father built Grace Church, named after Mrs. Fletcher.) Fletchers' and Stephensons' came with the Temperance Colonization Society in the 1880s.

John N. Lake, wife and child.

John N. Lake and his wife, with their great-nephew Victor Dyer, at their summer cottage at Niagara-on-the-Lake in 1908. He was land commissioner of the Temperance Colonization Society and chose the site of Saskatoon in August 1882 as the administrative centre of the society, and also gave the city its name. He died in 1925.
