Group of people in front of Sanatorium and a truck for the Anti-Tuberculosis League.

File consists of photographs taken outside the Saskatoon Sanatoriumn

A-1082 and A-1084 show a group of twelve men, two women and a ventriloquist doll posed in front of Saskatoon Sanatorium. The women and eightof the men are dressed in blazers with a crest reading "Imperial Service" The ventriloquist's doll is similarly dressed. One man wears a white suit with the same crest. In the mid 1930s there was a gas station listed as Imperial Service station at 24th Street East and 2nd Avenue North and it may be that these are the staff of the service station performing some function at the sanatorium. People can be seen on the balconies and the fire escape of the sanatorium

A-1083 shows a large group seated in front of the Sanatorium. Banners on the building advertise a Travellers' Dance and A.C.T., the Association of Commercial Travellers. the ACT was a strong supporter of Christmas Seals and sponsored amateur radio hours in support of the Anti-Tuberculosis League
