Blind bandleader Guy Watkins and his Art Harmony Seven (sometimes known as the Art Harmony Six), posed in matching uniforms with all the instruments they played. From left to right: Jay Van Buskirk: banjo, guitar, trumpet; Herb Neve: tenor and soprano sax, clarinet; Virgil Meyers: tenor, clarinet, soprano and baritone sax; Ken Moore: banjo, mandolin, baritone sax and clarinet, Landon Muirhead: trumpet and bass sax; Stewart Roberts: piano, accordion; Watkins, percussion. The band played for jitney dances at Manitou Lake as well as club dances Monday to Friday, public dances on Saturdays, and Sunday concerts at the Silver Gray Cafe on 2nd Avenue.
