Saskatoon Track and Field Team in 1923.

Saskatoon Track and Field Team in 1923. Labour Day Sports were held at Exhibition racetrack in Regina. Eddie Mather (2nd from right, back row) and Sid Hall (far right, front row) ran 10-second 100-yard finals (a record). Mather set a record of 22 seconds for 220 yard "Straightaway." The record stood for 35 years. Joe Griffiths in front row.
